Product description
Rare and unique set of four Chinese nesting tables, made by George Zee & Co., Hong Kong – a renowned manufacturer of high-quality Chinese export furniture in the 20th century. The original maker's mark remains on the underside of one of the tables (see photo), confirming its provenance and authenticity.
The tables are made of solid dark hardwood and richly decorated with hand-carved reliefs. The panels feature traditional Chinese motifs such as fans, blossoming branches, and figurative scenes. The edges of the tops and legs are also intricately carved, clearly distinguishing this set from simpler nesting tables.
The tables nest together to form an elegant whole, but can also be used individually as a side table, pedestal, or decorative accent piece.
