Chimera is a floor lamp designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in 1969. The elegant floor lamp is made of opal methacrylate with a characteristic curved shape. The base consists of a metal sheet which guarantees that the lamp stands stable. Chimera is one of the first lamps that Artemide produced in an almost entirely synthetic material, which over time has proven to provide excellent lighting properties. The diffuser spreads a soft shielded light that prevents glare. All original brand marks are present on the light. This floor light is in very good original condition with some small traces of use, with working lights. The cord of the light has a European AV socket.
