A beautiful, handcrafted wall mirror, also known as a full-length mirror, with character and a "Wabi-Sabi" weathered atmosphere.
The wooden frame features what is known as the whiplash effect. This is a woodworking technique that often originated in the Art Nouveau period (circa 1890) and moved towards the Jugendstil period. It involves organic (branch/leaf) carving with flowing, sweeping lines. Mirrors in this style were also still produced in the 1930s and 1950s.
Whether vertical or horizontal, precisely dated or not, with this mirror you have a stunning design on your wall. The size also makes it easy to place in a narrow hallway, between two doors, or above a sideboard.
Some photos have been slightly edited to provide a clear impression of the style and atmosphere. The signs of use and distressed look are clearly visible in the other photos, giving the whole piece a wonderful patina.
The mirror will be excellently packaged and shipped with additional insurance via our experienced partner. If your destination country is not listed, please contact us.
