Ceramica V.A.R.M. was a small American company that had its tableware hand-decorated in Italy in the 1990s.
This Mediterranean-inspired design was popular as a homey counterbalance to the sleek 1980s aesthetic.
Also consider the Versace aesthetic that was in full swing at the time: maximalism and luxury as a statement.
This set of 6 vintage oval plates each features a different fish motif and a beautiful, unique hand-glazed rim.
