A lovely Italian ceramic vase from the 1970s. Large, hand-painted daisies in various colors (white, electric blue, yellow, and red) bloom against a turquoise background with a watercolor effect.
Its irregular finish is a testament to its handcrafted nature. The glaze is a vitreous material that coats the ceramic, making it waterproof.
