Elegant ceramic table lamp designed by Ruggero Giangiacomi for La Bottega Il Punto in the 1970s. The lamp features a hand-thrown terracotta spherical base with a ribbed texture, complemented by a brass neck and a light fabric shade. A representative example of Giangiacomi’s aesthetic language, which blended craftsmanship and design, created in collaboration with La Bottega Il Punto, a Milanese studio active in the 1970s and 1980s known for its artistic design objects. Ruggero Giangiacomi (1930–2015) was an Italian artist and designer who studied in Rome and later moved to Milan, alternating between applied arts and painting; he spent the last decades of his life working in Essaouira.
