Vintage ceramic side table designed by Belgian artist Paul Vermeire for Perignem, Belgium in the 1960s.
Vermeire worked in Ostend and developed a diverse body of work including ceramics, painting and drawing. His collaborations with Perignem belong to the rich tradition of Belgian studio ceramics of the mid twentieth century.
The table features a metal base with a ceramic top and is signed by the artist. Its compact proportions make it suitable as a side table or coffee table.
