Very nice hand-painted ceramic box with lid, typical of the luxurious style of Hubert Bequet (Quaregnon, Belgium).Richly decorated with floral motifs on black background and finished with gold accents. Bottom marked 166 and BELGIUM, as often on Bequet productions for export in the 1950s-1960s. Size: 12 × 9 × 8 cm.Condition: excellent condition, no cracks or chips, slight signs of use on the gold rim (see photos). A beautiful piece of Belgian faience, ideal for collectors or as a unique vintage decor item.
