Glazed ceramic Harlequin Dog figurine made in the 1970s, Italian production.
A large decorative figurine depicting a Harlequin Dog, made of glazed ceramic, 1960s/1970s. The sculpture realistically captures the characteristics of the breed – the distinctive black and white coat, proportions and dignified silhouette of the dog. Figurines of this type were produced in Italian and Spanish decorative ceramics factories and were often sold as striking interior decorations in the glamour and Hollywood Regency styles. An excellent example of a functional sculpture combining decorative function with a touch of playfulness – a faithful companion in porcelain form.
Condition: The item is preserved in its original condition, may have minor scratches and normal signs of use.
