Product description
Special and rare art object, consisting of two parts and is made of glazed ceramic. All parts have a very rich decoration (in relief), the lower part has a perfectly round glazed cavity on the inside. On the underside of the lower part there is a kind of signature/numbering in the glaze in small black symbols/letters or numbers.
It was made by hand, possibly in Europe or Japan, between 1960 and 1969. The shape is reminiscent of a Japanese lotus flower, from which the name of the object is derived. The color is predominantly cream/ ivory, but there are swaths of gray, green and yellow in various places in the glaze.
The height is approximately 32cm., the diameter approximately 24cm.
The object is in excellent condition
