An elegant mid-century ceiling light with a finely balanced, Sputnik-inspired design from the 1950s and 60s. The light features three textured, elongated, cone-shaped glass shades whose diamond-like relief creates a particularly atmospheric light. The delicate brass arms lend the structure a floating lightness and are complemented by decorative crystal prisms that further refract the light, giving the light an almost star-like appearance. The combination of satin-finished brass, dark accents, and transparent glass is reminiscent of Italian and Austrian post-war modernist designs, blending classic elegance with futuristic space-age influences.
Condition: Vintage condition with age-related wear and a light patina on the metal parts. The electrical system should be checked and/or rewired.
