An elegant and highly collectible dining set designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in the 1960s. This original Dutch Mid-Century Modern set consists of an extending dining table with butterfly extension system and four matching dining chairs, executed in beautifully grained wengé wood.
Cees Braakman is regarded as one of the most influential Dutch furniture designers of the post-war period. His work for Pastoe is celebrated for its architectural simplicity, clean lines and functional innovation. This dining set perfectly reflects those qualities, combining timeless aesthetics with everyday practicality.
The table features an integrated butterfly extension mechanism, allowing it to extend from 120 cm to 200 cm in length, making it ideal for both everyday use and larger gatherings. The matching chairs complement the table beautifully with their elegant proportions and refined construction.
