A very exclusive cabinet by designer Hiroyuki Tsugawa for STUDIO SIMON from the 1970s. Later acquired by Cassina.
Purchased by us in 1980.
A truly UNIQUE ITEM.
This storage unit adds a functional and unique piece to your interior.
Material: The unit is made of MDF panels with a black baked lacquer finish.
This also applies to the inside, except for the back panel.
Originally, this was a wardrobe, but we had a cabinetmaker add uprights and shelves (without damaging the cabinet, of course).
(You can remove these if desired.)
The cabinet serves as a china cabinet for us.
Over time, we had a cabinetmaker replace the original six hinges, three per door, with four, two per door.
The original hinges are still present. The cabinet has some signs of wear that can be repaired by a qualified cabinetmaker if necessary.
Very, very exclusive. A true collector's item.
Baseboard is chipped but repairable. 1 horizontal scratch left side. See attached photo.
