Iconic Maralunga lounge chair designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in 1973. This model is widely considered one of the most important Italian seating designs of the 20th century and remains a benchmark of comfort and timeless design. The chair features the characteristic adjustable backrest system of the Maralunga series. The headrest can be folded up or down to create two seating positions: a relaxed low back or a supportive high back. This example is upholstered in beautiful cognac leather that has developed a rich patina over time. The generous cushions and sculptural arms make the chair both visually striking and exceptionally comfortable. Perfect as a statement lounge chair in a living room, office, or reading corner. Condition Good vintage condition with visible signs of use and patina consistent with age. Some creasing, wear and light marks on the leather as shown in the photos. Structurally very solid and comfortable.
