Product description
From my father's estate, this beautifully preserved vintage designer sofa and chair set. They rarely sat on them because they were so careful with them. They were showpieces in their interior, and they bought other chairs for seating. ;-)
The Cassina Maralunga 3-seater sofa and armchair were designed by Vico Magistretti. You can find a lot of information about this Italian designer on this website.
They were purchased sometime in the late 1980s, put up, and never moved. Now they're temporarily in my possession. I couldn't find any signs of wear or damage. The famous folding mechanism of the sofa and chair work perfectly. It was a non-smoking and pet-free home. In short, a true vintage design in very good condition with the beautiful purple velvet fabric with a green stripe that's only visible up close.
