Product description
Rare postmodern sideboard from the "Brera" series, produced by Cassina in Italy in 1982. Crafted from lacquered wood with a solid slate top, the piece creates a striking contrast between the matte, mineral finish and the deep, dark wood. The clean lines are subtly interrupted by vertical accents and a rhythmic structure of doors and drawers. Behind the doors lies a functional interior with shelves, complemented centrally by a drawer unit. The construction is very solid and typical of Cassina's high production standards during this period. It is in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear.
