Armchair-chaise longue "Tuoli" design Antti Nurmesniemi for Cassina with independently adjustable backrest. Bearing structure of polished chrome-plated tubular steel. Polyurethane foam filling. Upholstery in precious black fabric. Excellent state of preservation. Antti Nurmesniemi designed this armchair in the mid-1970s and presented it for production in 1978 through Vuokko, the Finnish fabric manufacturer. Actually "lounge-chair 002" this was its original name, later renamed Tuoli, it was never put into production. Cassina then understood its design value in the 1980s as an authoritative expression of that part of Scandinavian design that derives from the interaction with international culture.
