Product description
Set of four ‘780 / 783’ nesting tables designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina. Originally designed in the 1960s and produced in the late 1970s / early 1980s. The design consists of four round tables that can be compactly nested together into a single sculptural cylindrical shape. When placed apart, four separate side tables of varying heights are created, making the set flexible for use in an interior. The tables are made of lacquered wood with reversible tops: one side in cream and the other in black. This allows the character of the set to be easily adjusted and creates a playful contrast when the tops are combined. Frattini’s design combines clear geometry with ingenious functionality. In its closed form, the set reads as a compact object, while the individual tables form a rhythmic composition when placed spread out. Diameter: 60 cm
