Original Space Age chair model 2004/2005 by Casala, designed by Alexander Begge in the 1970s.
The chair is constructed from a single flowing plastic form, with the legs, seat, and high backrest merging almost seamlessly. The organic white shell combined with the loose black seat cushion gives the chair its distinct futuristic character.
A typical 1970s design that is interesting from every angle. Due to its sculptural form, the chair looks great not only at a table or desk but also stands out as a standalone design object.
The chair is clearly marked Casala Modell 2004/2005 on the underside and is in neat vintage condition. The plastic shows light signs of wear consistent with its age.
