Rare armchair by Carl Straub from the 1960s. This model with armrests belongs to a modular seating series by Straub and is offered much less frequently than the individual lounge chairs from the same range.
The armchair features a beautiful dark stained wooden frame with elegant rounded shapes and still has the original coarse-woven wool upholstery in a warm white/beige color scheme. The original Straub label is located under the seat.
Thanks to the low seat and organic design, this armchair fits perfectly within a mid-century, brutalist, or wabi-sabi interior. The combination of the dark wood and natural wool gives the chair a timeless and luxurious appearance.
