Elegant organically designed "Capri" sofa, likely part of the historic "Isola" collection produced by Biel (Montelabbate, Pesaro) and designed by Liviano Battistoni.
Purchased from the renowned Arredamenti Brenna showroom (Castellanza) in the late 2000s, this model is an iconic example of the "Modern Baroque" style that appeared in several interior design magazines of the time.
Distinguishing Features:
Design: Sinuous crescent shape, ideal for the center of a room.
Modularity: Equipped with a contoured rotating ottoman that fits perfectly into the curve, transforming the sofa into a large circular relaxation island (daybed).
Materials: High-quality black velvet upholstery paired with cushions and ottoman in black and white damask/floral fabric.
Condition: Solid structure and padding in excellent condition. The fabric is well preserved despite its age, a testament to the quality of manufacturing in the Pesaro area.
