Teapot in Capodimonte porcelain, bronze, and 24-karat gold, made at the end of the 19th Century. Diameter 23 cm, Diameter 14 cm, Height 30 cm. Capodimonte porcelain is an excellence of Italian craftsmanship, with a rich history and a production distinguished by its quality and refinement. The Royal Factory of Capodimonte was founded in 1743 by Charles of Bourbon, King of Naples, within the Palace of Capodimonte. The factory has had various phases of activity, with periods of great splendor and moments of closure, but has always maintained high quality standards. Capodimonte porcelain is famous for its "soft paste," a composition that gives objects a particular softness and luminosity.
