Chinese polychrome Canton enamelled copper box, dating from the late 18th century.
The lid is adorned with a lively scene of Chinese figures in an architectural setting, painted in polychromy. The perimeter features a dark blue background embellished with decorative and floral motifs.
A beautiful example of Chinese painted enamel work on copper from the late 18th century.
Old condition with wear, small accidents and enamel losses visible in the photographs, consistent with the age of the piece.
