Product description
Cantilever chair with beautiful cognac leather upholstery. Price: CHF 234. The chair shown is a cantilever design with a striking material and form language clearly inspired by the Bauhaus tradition. The construction consists of a chrome-plated tubular steel frame in the classic cantilever shape – meaning without back legs, allowing the seat to flex slightly. The seat and backrest are each made from a single piece of natural-colored full-grain leather stretched over the tubular frame. The design is minimalist, functional, and features clean lines with a pronounced lightness. The backrest is more reclined, which could indicate a later, possibly Italian or Scandinavian, interpretation from the 1970s or early 1980s. Condition: The condition of both chairs can be described as good. The leather shows signs of wear across its entire surface in the form of watermarks and discoloration, giving the cantilever chairs an authentic vintage charm. The chrome frame is in good overall condition with only minor signs of wear. The seat cushions on both chairs have tears underneath, but this does not affect seating comfort.
