A magnificent "Can Can" modular sofa designed by Luciano Frigerio for Frigerio Di Desio in the 1960s. It consists of nine elements: six seating units and three triangular modules that can be arranged to form an ottoman or additional seating. The sofa's standout feature is its magnificent sculptural, Brutalist backrest, crafted from dramatically shaped wooden slats, as shown in the photos. The sofa remains in its original condition; neither the seating units nor the structures have been altered. The beautiful tweed fabric, featuring a yellow color gradient, is original. It is in very good vintage condition with no major damage or missing parts, though it shows some signs of wear consistent with age and use. The seat cushions have removable covers. Please note that the seating is quite soft rather than firm. The listed dimensions refer to the sofa itself and do not include the ottoman.
