Beautiful handmade studio glass cabinet vase by the renowned German glass artist Vera Walther (Vera Walther Glasmanufaktur, Bad Driburg). This unique object exudes pure craftsmanship from the early 1980s.
The vase is crafted from thick-walled, mouth-blown glass in an atmospheric purple/smoky grey hue. The glass layer is richly adorned with the fine, intentionally blown-in air bubbles so characteristic of Walther (studio glass technique). The rim is beautifully finished with an elegant, clear glass applicator detail (drop/handle). The authentic, rough pontil mark is located on the underside.
