Studio Haag presents a set of five iconic planetoid wall lamps by Raak Amsterdam. these striking lamps feature a blue acrylic backplate — evoking a cosmic sky — with an opaline glass sphere as the light source. The result is a playful and atmospheric design that perfectly captures the experimental spirit of dutch lighting from the 1970s.
The contrast between the deep blue background and the softly glowing opal glass creates a unique ambience, both sculptural and functional. When illuminated, the lamps resemble planets floating against a night sky, giving them a distinctive space-age character.
All five lamps are in excellent vintage condition and have been professionally rewired for immediate use. A rare opportunity to acquire multiple examples of one of Raak’s most expressive designs — true collector’s pieces for mid-century and space-age interiors.
