A charming little bust of a child, girl, or young man, in white Limoges porcelain biscuit, stamped under the base with the CT mark of the Camille Tharaud factory, dating from the 1940s-1950s. It depicts a young person with a slightly tilted head, wearing a headband, in a simple and elegant style. The unglazed biscuit highlights the delicate modeling of the face and drapery. An unknown original work, a fairly rare piece.
16.5 cm high, 15 cm at its widest point, and approximately 11 cm deep. Very good overall condition, without cracks or chips. A few minor imperfections from the original manufacture: small, discreet spots and a rather coarse grain in the biscuit, with some small, more or less visible, raised areas on the surface. Approximately 700g.
