Rosenthal porcelain teacup, "Dolci Déco" Collection, designed by Bulgari for Rosenthal in the 1990s. Saucer: 15 cm diameter. The Bulgari for Rosenthal collaboration (launched in the 1990s and now out of production) represents the perfect union between the audacity of Roman jewelry and the technical precision of German porcelain. The design translates the language of Bulgari jewelry to the table. Distinctive elements include the use of classic and architectural motifs, such as Greek key patterns, Roman friezes, and the renowned circular "BVLGARI BVLGARI" logo. Extensive use of 22-carat pure gold, applied with a raised gilding technique that makes the decorations tactile, almost as if they were set. A palette dominated by the contrast between the purest white of Rosenthal porcelain, deep black, and vibrant gold.
