Helena Tynell (1918-2016):
H. Tynell was a Finnish glass artist.
She studied at the Central School of Industrial Design, now part of Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, where she graduated in 1943. Tynell primarily worked with molded and blown glass. Some of his works are part of the permanent collections of the Design Museum in Helsinki, the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, and the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, USA.
Glashütte Limburg is a German manufacturer specializing in interior glass lighting that preserves traditional craftsmanship.
These light fixtures are made with mouth-blown glass in a glassworks located in the town of Limburg.
