Bubble-blown glass orangeade set.
It includes a carafe and 5 glasses.
The bubbles are clearly visible, but not too large for greater strength.
The set is in perfect condition, with no chips on either the glasses or the decanter, including the most exposed necks.
The capacity of the glasses is approximately 300 ml. Decanter capacity approx. 3.2 l (liquid 1.5 cm from rim of both).
The carafe's large capacity means it can be filled with ice cubes and then with drinks such as fruit juices, mint water, etc. This means you can stay at the table with your guests and still have a fresh drink, without having to go back to the kitchen. The large capacity of the glasses makes it possible to serve a few ice cubes with the drink, but I know I'm not telling you anything!
The blue color is much prettier than the more common brown, green, yellow or gray hues. As it's quite light, the color of the drink stands out better. On one of the glasses, there's a blue grain of glass coloring that didn't melt when the glass was melted.
On the underside of each glass, the decanter and the decanter handle, you can see the trace of the glassblower's pontil (cane). It's a fine piece of work for quality enthusiasts.
The current new price is around 400 to 450 euros, based on the Biot glassworks online boutique.
The height of the glasses is approx. 16 cm and the carafe approx. 22 cm.
The overall weight is 4.2 kg. The well-protected parcel will weigh 7 to 8 kg for worry-free travel.
