The heavy ceramic base is executed in the recognizable West German studio ceramics style (attributed to Carstens Tönnieshof), characterized by a powerful spiral shape and striking "bullseye" relief elements in a beautiful, earthy texture. The lamp is equipped with a high-quality aluminum fixture and a large socket featuring the double-insulated quality mark (Kaiser Leuchten era). With a total height of no less than 86 cm, this is an impressive statement piece that immediately draws attention in a Mid-Century Modern, eclectic, or Brutalist interior. Lampshade-free option: The lamp is offered complete with the original shade. Would you prefer to place a modern shade (e.g., bouclé or linen) on this unique base yourself?
