Are you looking for a unique design icon and an absolute eye-catcher for your interior? This handmade, brutalist wall clock is a beautiful example of Mid-Century modern design from Italy. The clock was designed in the 60s/70s by the renowned Italian artist Franco Bastianelli for his studio Laurana Rame d'Arte.
Designer: Franco Bastianelli (Studio Laurana) Origin: Italy, 1960s / 1970s Hand-enameled copper with a beautiful relief and openwork, irregular edges. A stunning, glossy polychrome palette with deep green in the center, gold-yellow/bronze accents all around, and bright, contrasting red details. Due to the artisanal process of enameling over fire, every object from this studio is unique in texture and color gradient. The clock is in beautiful vintage condition with a beautifully preserved shine on the enamel. The movement is located on the back. A beautiful work of art and a functional clock in one!
