A striking set of six Dutch dining chairs from the 1970s, crafted from solid oak with a strong architectural presence.
The design is characterized by a robust, almost monolithic construction, softened by a subtly curved backrest that offers both comfort and visual balance. The thick, solid frames emphasize the craftsmanship and material quality characteristic of late 20th-century Dutch modernism with Brutalist influences.
The seats are upholstered in a coarse-woven fabric that contrasts beautifully with the dark stained oak and enhances the natural, tactile quality of the furniture.
