A beautiful and distinctive Brutalist hexagonal pendant lantern from the 1960s/70s. This lamp is a stunning example of artisanal design from the Mid-Century era. The most striking feature is the thick, amber-colored cage glass. This glass is mouth-blown into the heavy, forged iron frame, causing the glass to bulge outwards organically on each side. The frame is decorated with elegant, handmade S-scrolls and has a weathered, rust-brown patina that fits perfectly within a Brutalist, Industrial, or Spanish Revival interior. Thanks to the amber-colored glass and the structure of the blown glass, the lamp emits a very warm, atmospheric, and diffuse light. An absolute eye-catcher for the hallway, above a table, or in a cozy corner.
