Superb mid-century modern ceramic/stoneware vase, handmade by Thomas Hellström for Nittsjö, Sweden. This vase is typical of Hellström's design, featuring simple yet bold lines due to the glazing, partially left raw, evoking concrete with graphic details. The top of the vase showcases a beautiful deep green colour. The whole piece offers an interesting blend of brutalism and sophisticated elegance. Although produced in the 1960s, it retains a contemporary feel. It is in excellent condition. Height: 17 cm, diameter: approximately 12.5 cm.
