Striking midcentury bronze pitcher sculpture by renowned German metal artist Horst Dalbeck for HDV Dalbeck, created in the 1970s and inspired by historical forms. This heavy, compact bronze jug features a dark patinated finish and finely detailed reliefs of ancient warriors in ornamental armor.
Crafted in the Brutalist tradition, the sculptural surface blends decorative symbolism with bold, tactile presence. Though unmarked, the piece is well documented and attributed to Dalbeck's limited edition work for HDV in the 70s, cast in solid quality bronze.
