This four-piece set from the Brutalist era of the 1960s is by Norwegian designer Leif Rubach. It comprises three cylindrical candlesticks of varying heights and a matching octagonal tray, all distinguished by their raw, handcrafted aesthetic.
The pieces are made of pewter and feature a striking, hammered surface texture and stamped geometric decorations. The undersides are engraved with "Handmade Norway" and the designer's signature. The silvery patina underscores the authentic character of the period.
Vintage condition with signs of wear. The top of the large candlestick is missing the rim that holds the candle—some improvisation will be necessary.
