Brushed metal postmodern table lamp, 1980s Italy. This Italian postmodern table lamp has a clean, architectural design reminiscent of the refined lighting pieces associated with Angelo Lelli. Made from brushed metal, the lamp is built around a cylindrical base with a slim upright structure that supports an adjustable spotlight head. A distinctive feature of the design is the white disc positioned in the center of the lamp. The light source reflects against this surface, creating a soft indirect glow that diffuses the light and gives the lamp a warm, atmospheric quality rather than a direct beam. The adjustable head allows the direction of the light to be subtly altered depending on the setting. The lamp uses a single E14 bulb and combines functional lighting with a restrained sculptural presence, typical of Italian postmodern design from the late twentieth century. In good vintage condition.
