A bronze trinket tray signed by Max Le Verrier, depicting an Assyrian sculpture of Ashurbanipal, King of Nineveh, during a lion hunt, circa 650 BC.
It is in very good condition, particularly the patina. It has not been polished.
It measures 15.3 x 8 cm and weighs 265 grams.
