Product description
Special Belgian vintage Sculpture in bronze by Louis Nelen, presumably made around 1960. The piece has a distinct modernist design language, with elegant, highly simplified lines characteristic of post-war design from that period. The composition is dynamic and sculptural, with a beautiful balance between abstraction and figuration. Executed in heavy bronze with a warm, lived-in patina and placed on a stepped black base. The original Louis Nelen label from Belgium is still on the underside. This label documents the Belgian origin of the object. Dimensions: Height approx. 52 cm Width approx. 21 cm Depth approx. 3.5 cm Base approx. 12 x 12 cm Weight including base 4,485 grams The piece is in beautiful vintage condition.
