A beautiful bronze owl statue for lovers of this Art-Deco style.

Altorf's vision of form is remarkable: subjects are analyzed in parts that, in Altorf's view, are most characteristic of the portrayal of the subject. By selecting the parts in such a way, reducing and reassembling them, he builds representations that express only the most essential. This austere Art Deco design also lends itself perfectly to decorative work in arts and crafts. Although he is mostly known as a sculptor concentrating on animal figures (especially monkeys and birds) he also produced portraits and even furniture.
