Antique patinated bronze altar crucifix, featuring beautiful architecture inspired by the Neo-Gothic style. The cross is distinguished by its decorated finials and its central rosette which highlights the figure of Christ. The gilded Christ figure stands out against the dark patina of the bronze, providing an elegant contrast. The entire piece rests on a richly worked base, composed of moldings, foliage, and a sculpted angel's head on the front, a characteristic detail of religious furnishings from the late 19th century. The scroll feet give the piece a solid and decorative foundation. These crucifixes were intended for domestic altars, private oratories, or family chapels. With its size and the richness of its decoration, this piece has a commanding presence and constitutes a beautiful antique object, both spiritual and decorative. Height: approximately 30 cm.
