This is one of two cinema lamps from the Scala Theatre. Commissioned in 1912 for the Scala Theatre, located at Haarlemmerstraat 31 in Amsterdam, it later became the Rex Cinema.
The Rex Cinema was demolished in 1992. A total of six lamps were made, and this is one of the last two.
Made of copper. The glass was replaced in 1994. It can accommodate two LED theatre lamps, which are not currently installed. We are offering one, but we can also sell the set. The price for two lamps is €4,000.00 or more.
