Product description
Decorative plate "Death of the Marshal of Lannes", part of the "Napoleon" commemorative plate series by Boch Frères (La Louvière, Belgium) illustrating Napoleonic battles, military events, and historical scenes.
Earthenware. Late 19th/early 20th century.
The grisaille decoration stands out against the white background; the outline is adorned with symbols of the empire: an "N" surmounted by the imperial crown surrounded by a laurel wreath.
In perfect condition. Stamped: bears the Boch stamp on the back.
Diameter: 24 cm. Comes with its wall bracket.
