A vibrant Art Deco vase by Boch Frères Keramis, decorated with the celebrated Fleur de Saxe pattern—one of the manufactory’s most distinctive and enduring floral designs. Rich purple and golden-yellow blossoms are interwoven with stylised foliage and geometric starbursts, creating a lively composition that perfectly reflects the decorative elegance of the Art Deco period.
The graceful sculptural form is enhanced by subtle gilded accents along the rim and base, adding refinement while beautifully framing the richly coloured decoration. Entirely hand-finished, the vase demonstrates the exceptional quality for which Boch Frères became internationally renowned during the early twentieth century.
The vase remains in very good vintage condition, with only light signs of age and gentle wear to the gilding, entirely consistent with nearly a century of careful use.
Founded in La Louvière in the 19th century, Boch Frères Keramis was one of Belgium’s most important ceramic manufacturers. During the Art Deco era, the factory became renowned for combining innovative modern forms with richly decorative surface designs, and today its finest pieces are highly sought after by collectors of European decorative arts.
