This bathroom accessory set, attributed to Fontana Arte, comprises a cup holder shelf and matching tumbler, dating from the 1970s. The organic silhouette and deep blue color perfectly illustrate the bold aesthetic of Italian design from that era.
The structure is made of thick cobalt blue glass, complemented by a chrome-plated metal wall bracket. The shelf measures 15.5 cm wide, 11 cm deep, and 3 cm high (including the 1.2 cm thickness of the glass). It provides stable support for the matching glass tumbler. The combination of colored glass and polished metal creates a visual contrast characteristic of Fontana Arte's designs. The shelf weighs 395g and the tumbler 142g.
The set is in good overall condition. The original chrome bracket is slightly pitted but can be replaced, preserving its functionality and original character. It integrates perfectly into a vintage or modernist bathroom, adding a touch of color and design history to the space.
