"Luis Tomasello is an artist of many qualities. He started on the path he continues to follow today in 1958, when he began working in relief. In 1955, he moved into abstract art and, around the same time, became interested in kineticism. He developed an interest in light, which he treated through structure and color; he took part in all the major international events devoted to luminokinetism in the 1960s. Tomasello, a South American, was born in La Plata, Argentina. In 1957, he moved to Paris, where he still lives and works. He will be 97 this year and is still active."
