The inclusion paperweight is a desk object that remained popular throughout the 20th century without ever going out of style. This one features a finely modeled and gilded horse's head in profile, encased in a perfectly transparent blown glass dome. The magnifying effect of the glass amplifies the motif and gives it a luminous presence depending on the lighting angle. The horse's head is meticulously rendered. The bridle, nostrils, and flowing mane are crafted with precision. The gilding is vibrant, without oxidation. The glass, clear and heavy in hand, is cut flat on the underside for a stable base. Approximately 8 cm in diameter. Very good overall condition, with minor surface scratches that do not affect the visibility of the design.
