Sculptural light object crafted from a salvaged metal oil drum. This one-off prototype combines industrial rawness with a strong totemic presence. Light escapes both from the top — through a translucent plastic lid resting directly on the inner rim — and from side openings that have been hand-cut and backed with translucent plexiglass.
The side openings, cut with a nibbler, have been painted in black and rust tones to enhance their graphic presence. The sharp upper edge has been softened with a white silicone or plastic safety gasket to prevent cuts when handled.
The drum retains visible marks of its past life — dents, scratches, and wear — which are embraced as part of the object's visual language. Inside, a custom LED light block is controllable via remote, offering three lighting modes: steady light, pulse, and flame effect.
The whole piece stands on three welded steel legs with floor-protection pads. Power is supplied via a 3-prong white cable, with proper grounding.

Please note: this object shows natural signs of wear— part of its recycled origin and charm. These imperfections prove its authenticity as a genuine, one-of-a-kind piece, not a mass-produced item.
